RS Kids

Our vision
We believe that your children were created by God for a purpose and everything we do is geared towards four values: Wonder, Truth, Identity, and Purpose.
“We are God’s creation. He created us to belong to Christ Jesus. Now we can do good works, which God prepared for us to do long ago.” Ephesians 2.10
At RS Kids, our littlest ones grow in wonder of their Heavenly Father who’s bigger than their imagination.
As they grow in Truth, they will learn about their identity in Christ and the good things they were created for. We pray that as they grow into the pre-teen years they will become passionate about changing the world around them and living life with Kingdom purpose.
Sundays in RSKids
Growing in Wonder | Nursery
Through play, hands-on activities, interactive Bible stories, and engaging worship, we hope to cultivate the instinctive wonder of a child and turn their gaze toward their Heavenly Father.

Established in Truth | 4 Years-Kindergarten
As your children grow, we want them to develop foundational roots in God’s big story from Genesis to Revelation, getting to know Jesus as their Savior.
Discovering Identity | 1st-5th Graders
RS Kids grow in leadership, character, purpose, and relationships with one another and the Father by the time they reach 5th grade.
They grow deeper in their relationship with Him and explore where they fit into God’s redemptive plan.

Living with Purpose | 4-5th Graders
Advanced Leadership Class
At any age, nothing is more important than finding out who we are, what we have because of Christ, and what we are created for.
Your 4th and 5th graders are invited to a leadership class to participate in these discussions on Sunday nights from 6-8 pm. It’s a time for community, discipleship, and learning how to live a life God considers worthy and bring God’s kingdom to earth!

Pre-Teen (4th and 5th grade)
During the school year we have a leadership class called ADVANCE designed just for 4th and 5th graders. We address specific topics that will teach them how to live out their faith and grow in leadership and character. Advancing the kingdom as they Advance in their walk with God.
RS Kids FAQ
I’m a first-time visitor. Where do I go, and what does check-in look like?
You can find our kid’s ministry to the right of the RS Welcome desk when you enter the front doors under the portico.
RSKids welcome center has an easy self-check-in process. There will be a short intake form to fill out for your first visit, and our check-in leaders will show you to your child’s classroom and answer any questions you have.
RSKids is divided into three areas: Nursery, 4 years – Kindergarten and Elementary. Nursery classrooms are located behind the RSKids welcome center. Four years – Kindergarten meets upstairs, along with Elementary grades. Trained volunteers are present in each room to care for your child.
What are your safety protocols?
Your children’s safety is our utmost concern. At check-in, each child receives a security ticket with a unique code, and parents receive the corresponding ticket for pick-up.
Our volunteers receive a background check before serving and are briefed on safety/emergency protocols. Our leadership team is CPR certified, and we take every precaution to ensure our RSKids’ areas are safe and sanitary.
What curriculum do you use?
We use the curriculum Wonder Ink by David C. Cook.
Faith begins with wonder and ink is God’s truth inked upon our hearts. Wonder Ink sparks curiosity and wonder as it takes kids on a journey of faith formation. Each year, kids will dive into the Bible with Old and New Testament stories that all connect to God’s Big Story.
The lessons are rooted in Biblical truth and enriched with four core values:
- God Knows Me
- Jesus Loves Me
- The Holy Spirit Leads Me
- I Am a Child of God
Wonder Ink offers kids space to fully discover their place in God’s Big Story, leaving no doubt about who God is and who they are in Him—helping them understand how their lives can tell of His wonder.
